I took this picture at a nursery, where I had been doing bokeh shots of all the colorful flowers. The image is uncropped by software; I took the picture like this so that I could get good color in the background but also because the statue had a price tag just below the line of site.

John and I went to St Augustine recently and I brought home tons of pictures. I posted about 275 out of the 1,300 that I shot…. about 40 of them are really good I think.
I will be posting more in the coming days but here’s the first. We were walking along the beach and I came upon this young man sitting on his surfboard. He had his head on his knees as I was focusing but started to bring his head up… which still works well. The photo comes across as him being sad; I’m not sure that is true. Good picture though; I like the composition and angle.

This is my cute little lady bug with a laser light going into the plastic starfish. I really like the ladybug expression. She looks like she’s found something special.
